I grew up in Greensboro, and my retired parents still live there. So when I order flowers for my Mom on special occasions, I like to use a locally owned florist. I've had great luck with Jordan House Flowers...each time, the actual arrangement at least meets, if not exceeds, the photo on the website and the expectations I have as the buyer. And each time, my Mom is effusive in her praise (she always sends me a photo). I also like that they have a number of unique arrangements, so that the recipient has the experience of receiving something unexpected.
